Unfortunately I can only agree with the previous speaker! We have been visiting the Neue Schmiede for many years. Still a great place to relax and feel good! The beautiful beer garden with the stone oven is a little oasis! The staff is always friendly and very attentive. The food is very tasty and the price-performance ratio has been really good so far. Now to my criticism: Last night we went to the forge again. The very reduced menu was striking. Certain classics could no longer be found on it! But also the delicious chili con carne and one or two smaller dishes were no longer available! It's a shame, but good! The prices were increased significantly for this. The penne pasta with basil pesto and some parmesan were very tasty and also decorated decoratively, but the portion was very manageable. For just under € 10, I just expect a little more on the plate, so that men or women are halfway full. As I said it was just a pesto! A similar game for the burger. This was also delicious, but for 12 € and because of the size completely overpriced. Perhaps those responsible should rethink their pricing. In any case, for us it cannot be understood. So, in the future I would like a little less chichi on my plate, but again a reasonable price-performance ratio!

Totally expensive has nothing more to do with social! Runs through a social facility that should first adjust the prices socially !!! Bethel Mafia Caution !!!

A very nice place, especially the beer garden. Friendly staff. As a restaurant not to be recommended at all. Two times within a week I ordered the dish of the day, twice there was convenience food of the worst variety. The rubbery meat (duck and suckling pig) could not be cut with the knife, was pale and watery. The vegetables were half cooked. Price per dish: € 15.

Without a reservation we got a perfect table in the garden yesterday evening. The food (Salad & Pizza) each with goat cheese by far exceeded our expectations!

Very nice restaurant with courteous service. When the weather is nice, the cozy beer garden is a great place to linger. Unfortunately, the food was not so great and it wasn't the ingredients, but simply the amount. For just under 12 euros, I expect to be at least half full! Was at some events in the "Schmiede" and if I should review the ambience of the place, then there is still room. It's just a functional building with a brick look. This place lives from the organized events. The fact that the disabled and (not) disabled find each other there is not up for debate in the assessment.

Yew nice change for disabled people in Berhel and their care ... Sometimes live music, sometimes DJ but always full. Very lovable project, keep it up ... ???

We were on the last Sunday (02.02.20), the first time on the occasion of a picture book demonstration with the whole family in the Neue Schmiede. Before the screening, there was delicious ice cream and delicious cake in a nice and cozy atmosphere. The whole thing is rounded off by very friendly staff. We would love to come back.
